Welcome to the Videconference Room course 101

Use your webcam & microphone for audiovisual chat (optional)

• Click the Send Audio/Video text on the left side of the videoconference screen to start

• Use the buttons below the slides on the videoconference tool to navigate
• When you click a button, all the participants will experience the same effect.
• Press “<“ to go to the previous slide
• Press “>” to go to the next slide
• Draw anything on the whiteboard
• Chat transcript will automatically be saved.
  • It can be viewed by the expert and the client

Press the Videoconference Menu button “…” for more features like:

• Upload/download files
  • Uploaded files can be downloaded during the presentation
  • Once a file is uploaded, it will be visible at the end of the slide list.
• Take control of the whole presentation
  • nobody else can use the previous/next button
• Full screen mode
  • keyboard is blocked in the full screen mode

• Upload jpeg, gif, png or flv files or links so that they can be used in a presentation.
  • On the left side of the front page, click “My Workspace” and then click “My Links”
    then
  • Submit the links of your files under the main directory & they will appear on the slide list.
  • Alternatively, upload those files directly there.
• Other file types will also appear on the slide list.
  • They can’t be viewed but can be downloaded.
• You can convert your MS Powerpoint PPT file to pictures (in Powerpoint, use File >> Save As).
